dc.description.abstract | This paper reviews the salient features of a number of iterative methods for solving the matrix equation Ax = b, and includes a brief description of the calling sequences to Fortran subroutines written for the IBM 360/50 with an assessment of the computational efficiency of the different methods for low order full matrices.
