Calculations and review of criticality data for homogeneous, water-moderated, 5 weight per cent enriched uranium dioxide systems

Abstract

The published data on 5 weight per cent enriched uranium dioxide systems are reviewed and compared with AAEC computed values. The accuracy of the computation is dependent on both the calculational methods and nuclear data used. Both are treated in some detail.
