Abstract: A matrix of flexibility factors is defined for pipe bends under in-plane and out-of-plane loading, and numerical values are presented for a wide range of 90 and 180o flange-ended pipe bends; the flexibility factors for the 90o bends are plotted against the pipe-bend characteristic.
