Abstract: A neutron scattering study with energy analysis was performed on polycrystalline Cu2-δSe samples. Experiments show that the diffuse scattering in the super-ionic α-Cu2-δSe phase is mainly inelastic and most probably comes from correlated thermal displacements of the ions.
