Abstract
Projects in environmental studies include: leaching of uranium ores; uranium mine waste management; heavy metal and radionuclide environmental transport; airborne pollutant transport; radiation dosimetry physics; toxicity of marine pollutants; uptake and loss of Ra-226 by mussels; and radiation biology - chromosome aberrations in lympocytes and dose-response relationships.
