dc.description.abstractThe current suite of 14 neutron scattering instruments at the multipurpose OPAL research reactor is described. All instruments have been constructed following best practice, using state-of-the-art components and in close consultation with the regional user base. First results from the most recently commissioned instruments match their design performance parameters. Selected recent scientific highlights illustrate some unique combinations of instrumentation and the regional flavour of topical applications. © Creative Commons BYen_AU
