Abstract
Perovskite, a candidate phase for the immobilization of Na bearing nuclear waste, shows excellent Na leach resistance in deionized water, when hot-pressed to 97% theoretical density at 1200°C. Surface reactions in two brines appeared to be minimal. © 1991 The American Ceramic Society
