Abstract
The diffusion of 60Co, 63Ni, 51Cr and 45Ca was measured in polycrystalline CoO by the
radioactive tracer technique. The grain boundary diffusion product D’ds as well as the
grain boundary enhancement factor D’ds /D were determined. The obtained diffusion data
indicate that the grain boundary transport kinetics in both NiO and CoO are similar.
