Abstract
The Australian Synchrotron Research Program (ASRP) provides Australian researchers with access to state-of-the-art synchrotron radiation research capabilities at two overseas synchrotron light source facilities. These are the Australian National Beamline facility (ANBF) at the Photon Factory, Tsukuba, Japan and the Advanced Photon Source, at the Argonne National Laboratory in Chicago, USA. The ASRP was funded for five years under the Major National Research Facilities program, with ANSTO acting as the managing agent. The member institutions of the ASRP are ANSTO, ANU, CSIRO, Monash University, UNSW, and the University of Melbourne, the University of Queensland and the University of Sydney. The University of Canberra is an associate member.
