Abstract
Incorporation of TiS2 additive by physical admixture into the LiMnPO4 cathode leads to modification of the electrochemical performance of the cathode, such as an improved delithiation and lithiation mechanism. Cyclic voltammetry suggests that the TiS2 additive suppresses proton deinsertion/insertion mechanism and does not contribute directly to the reduction/oxidation reactions of the LiMnPO4 working electrode. © 2010, American Chemical Society
