| Title: | Environmental survey at the AAEC Research Establishment, Lucas Heights - results for 1980. |
| Authors: | Giles, MS Dudaitis, A |
| Issue Date: | May-1982 |
| Publisher: | Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation |
| Abstract: | Results are presented of the environmental survey at the AAEC Research Establishment Lucas Heights during 1980. They show that the only radioactivity detected which could be of Research Establishment origin and which could also be ingested by man was due to tritium and 60Co. The maximum credible dose which a member of the public could receive from this radioactivity is calculated to be 0.0006 of the derived working limit i.e. 3 microsieverts which is equivalent to about 0.03 per cent of the natural background. |
