dc.description.abstract | The theory used to deduce a neutron energy spectrum from counting rate data recorded by the Time of Flight Analyser installed on the reactor MOATA is described in detail, included are the methods used to calculate energy resolution and slit transmission probabilities assuming either opaque or translucent slit walls. The corrections for energy resolution, dead time, background and air attenuation are also discussed. | en_AU |
