Report on overseas trip to USA, Canada, UK, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Federal Republic of Germany, 12th May, 1980 - 11th June, 1980

Abstract

The main purpose of my trip overseas from 12th May 1980 to 11th June 1980 was to visit laboratories which have similar objectives to the AAEC Research Establishment and to obtain information on the organisation of their laboratories, the planning and review of their research programs including the current programs and future trends. This was considered essential background for decisions relating to possible organisation changes at the Research Establishment and to the selection and progressing of research topics which are on national concern.
